Made by one pair of hands — mine.

No factory, no production line. Every cake that leaves my kitchen is something I’ve mixed, baked, decorated and boxed myself. That’s the whole point — you’re talking to the person who’ll actually make it.

I love the bit where we figure it out together: the colour you keep coming back to, the theme your kid won’t stop talking about, the flowers from your bouquet. Send me a photo and a date and we’ll take it from there.

How it works

From hello to delivery, in four steps.

Most enquiries turn into a booked date inside a week. Here’s how it goes, so you know exactly what to expect before you start typing.

  1. Tell me about it

    Send me the date, the room, the people. A photo of the stationery or a colour you love is gold. The form takes two minutes.

  2. I’ll quote you

    A written quote in your inbox within two business days. I sit with your changes, not against them.

  3. You sign off

    Nothing gets baked until you’ve said yes — no tastings needed. For bigger orders, or whenever it’s needed, you’ll see a flat PDF sketch first.

  4. I deliver it

    Cakes hand-delivered and set up exactly where you want them — a flat $20 anywhere within 15km of Grey Lynn.

Before you write

Good to know.

The four questions almost everyone asks me first. Read these and the enquiry becomes a two-minute job.

How far ahead should I get in touch?
Six weeks is the sweet spot for most cakes. I’ll always tell you if a shorter window works — sometimes it absolutely does, so ask.
What’s the booking deposit?
A 50% deposit holds your date on my calendar; you settle the rest the week of your event.
Do you deliver?
Yes — a flat $20 anywhere within 15km of Grey Lynn, which takes in Takapuna, Henderson, Onehunga, Panmure and everywhere in between. Further out, just ask. You can also pick smaller pieces up from me.
Can you do dietary needs?
Some. Nut-free, yes — but gluten-free and dairy-free are two I can’t do. My kitchen isn’t allergen-free either: I handle nuts, gluten, dairy and eggs, so tell me how strict it needs to be and I’ll be straight with you about what I can promise.
